Rarab Slaughter

Nothing much new on the the gamefront. Dinged level 9, which I can basically thank to crawler and pug pagil grinding. Crawlers have several valuable drops, the ones important to me being silk (for the auction house), Calculus (repeatable quest turn-in for monies), and smooth stones for In A Pickle, the latter I’m still trying to get. The bitch is so picky about the stone she wants, and it’s not like item drops are easy to come by. The pug grinding was an accident. There is a quest which calls for the scales they drop and leave it to me, I thought you needed two scales rather than the simple one, which I got the second time I killed one. Twas not all in vein though; the water crystals will help my cooking. I have fire crystals covered for a while. <3

What can I say about fishing? Well, there’s one thing… WHY AM I NOT LEVELING UP?! I’ve had to have casted off maybe 40 times now and I’ve only leveled 0.1 point. Do you level when you catch only fish, any successful catch, what? Or, is it just that hard to level? I’d appreciate answers on that as guides have left me with no answers and a bad rash.

Does anybody else feel a strong guilt during or after killing a Rarab? I was farming them for their Torn Epistle, specifically for Star Struck as I have already turned one in for Postman, and I thought to myself, “These things are WAY too fucking adorable to kill.” The squeaks, the hopping — and then their death cry.
